Microsoft have demoed some of the features headed to it's next generation of game-compatible smartphones
MS unveiled the phone series last month, confirming all the features that it's long been threatening, most significantly Xbox Live functionality.
Now Microsoft has unveiled XNA Game Studio 4.0, which will enable developers to create cross-compatible games for the Windows Phone Series 7, Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms - XNA 4.0 also supports 3D games, meaning Series 7 users can look forward to a quality of games that will potentially match those on the iPhone.

Meanwhile Xbox Live integration will include unlocking achievements on mobile games, as well as push notifications telling you to return five for turn-based titles.
