User Comments: Microsoft: US market is already decided

Microsoft is so full of crap, you don't see Sony coming out and saying the battle between the PS3 and 360 is over in Japan, where they are clearly getting raped, the fact that 360 has a one year head start and as of the end 2008, they've sold 28million units and the ps3 has sold 21 million, so 360 sells 9.3ish million units a year while the ps3 sells 10.5 million, with Microsoft counting the people who have bought a 2nd or 3rd xbox thanks to their crappy product and that with the cheapest ps3 console being the price of the most expensive x360, i own both, my original launch day 60gb ps3 and im on my 4th xbox 360, never bought a second one, never would, only because the warranty covered it. The ps3 is definitely better than the 360, its so sad people accept a shoddy product

I knew I'd find a posting about someone screaming BS and try to throw around a bunch of stats pertaining to this article... Well, here's a stat that you should take into consideration: Japan is currently selling 14% of the PS3's total world sales. Now, that's not talking how much they sell a year, or a month, or even a second... That is TOTAL sales. Pretty sad for a console's home country... So, honestly, you really shouldn't be throwing the Japan Card around because Japan is (currently) no longer a prime market for Next Gen consoles. The 360 is being raped in Japan because no one wants to buy into the Next Gen. I know this because kids who want Sony consoles are getting stuck with PSPs and PS2s due to this recession. And no one wants a 360 because it’s considered foreign crap to them. Oh, and I’m currently residing in Japan… So I know this very well.
